Sydney kpop Fest fanaccount part 2
Ok here we go! Tvxq Sydney kpop Fest fanaccount part 2 (For Yunho soompi thread, Homin Thread and CTVXQ forum Especially) Ok first things first^^ I did get to see some of the rehearsals^^ because my friend won the prize that included going to go see the rehearsals and invited me and my best friend to go with her and her sister^^ It was so hot and then we all got kicked out of rehearsals just before TVXQ Rehearsed!!!!!!!!! Grr wasn’t fair waited for nothing^^ well sort of hehe^^ Anyway I wanted to hang around outside encase they started rehearsal and then ta da! I heard Yunho oppa speak! and I knew it was them!!!!!!!! So wasn't for nothing lol and we saw a few of the other artists which was awesome^^ but not what we went for most. Any way Leah had left with her sister but I tweeted her and she came back so she got to at least hear them! If not seen them which wasn’t fair since she won the prize to see rehearsals^^
Yunho voice is so sexy! And deep! And even though it was windy you could hear Yunho and Changmin’s perfect performance from outside stadium^^
Alex and my seats were in section A1 VIP seating and we were front row which was great because we could stand up and not get in trouble lol^^ and somehow everyone in the section managed to move the seats forward gradually to practically right up to the barrier! I felt bad for the security guys though^^ some guy had come right down from silver or gold seating and tried to say he was in our seating area but he wasn’t ^^but in the end the security guys kind of gave up making us sit down^^
I screamed and sang along to the other artists whether I knew them a bit or not at all, it didn't matter^^ every performance was enjoyable, from Kara, to B2st, to CNBlue to Shinee and then Girls Generation and last but definitely not least TVXQ! Omg! Wow! I screamed so loud and I was next to a Changmin biased fan so we yelled out to the boys heaps! It was really funny being filmed by the cameras though while we were filming the concert lol^^ Filming something while being filmed yourself feels so funny^^ (I actually got on broadcast twice for the MBC broad cast of the concert hehe^^)
TVXQ is really the best of the best!!!!!!!! Just everything about them is polished and perfect to a T^^ Vocals, Dance and Performance! Everything is KING! ^O^ Before I talk about their vocals which is what I was most excited to hear^^ I just want to say is that what you hear on fan-cams is not the best way to hear them^^ you want to know the extent of their vocal skills you have to see them sing live at least once in your life! Fan cams do not compare^^ the sound for Yunho’s vocals especially sounds quite different^^ also depending on how close or far away you are from them too, it can sound different from one Fan-Cam to the next which I find interesting^^. In my opinion anyway^^
Chami Chami Chami!!! ^O^ Although I didn't see much of him at the airport^^ I definitely felt his own charisma and own presence on stage^^ And his dancing is so superb^^ (Teacher Ba, Ba! Has taught you well lol ^O^ Chami you have worked hard!) and while I’ll be honest and say that his tone can bother me a bit sometimes when he sings, I’m a weirdo for thinking that but I couldn't help it, it’s just how I felt before I heard him sing live^^ (everything else about his vocals I already like/love.)
I was pleasantly surprised that his tone didn't bother me at all hearing him sing live! His scream which I can only handle so much at a time usually, wasn’t really screaming at all! It sounded very different to my ears live and it was more of a very Beautiful high note! Not that his screaming isn’t beautiful either hehe, but yeah^^
Yunho’s voice got me into DBSK in the first place about 3 yrs ago and it’s not that I didn't appreciate Changmin’s vocals or his performance before its just I found a new appreciation of them now that I’ve heard him sing in real life^^ and seen him perform live with his own charisma as an individual on stage. He has grown up so much and it shows^^. Sometimes you need to see something before you can actually judge it properly^^ He has so much better control over his high notes then before seeing as his seems to do it more these days and hits it almost every time still^^ and its great hearing him sing low notes more too^^.
I personally feel just because your singing is great doesn’t mean you stop to further improve or enhance your skills and that goes for everything we do in life. Well that is the impression Changmin left on me and it doesn't matter if others felt the same or not, it’s just my perspective so take it or leave it is up to you^^
Ok now I will talk about Yunho’s vocals^^ OMG! If I have to choose best way to describe my overall fangirl impression of Yunho’s vocals would be SEXY!!!!!!!!!! ^O^ LOL! Yup that would pretty much some up his vocals for me if I just fan-girled over his singing^^ But his voice is much more than that. One thing I have heard a few times since I became a DBSK fan of the five members was from a fan of another member and a few Yunho fans, that Yunho was one of the most stable singing live vocally. To hear that made me proud to be a fan of his vocals and now that I have experienced what they said for myself now in 2011, I definitely think they were right. I once described Changmin voice as light and tangy and refreshing and Yunho as melted chocolate^^! And I think I still have that impression of their vocals^^
but I have to add that Changmin’s voice is a bit like an arrow, it comes straight out at you, while Yunho’s vocals have a very rounded sound and slowly and sensually hits you and sort of ripples out. He is also amazing at getting the emotions to translate into his vocals and straight at you, so you can really feel the emotions he is trying to convey.^^
Both of their vocals are to die for! And while Changmin’s vocals made me scream and shout his name like crazy! Yunho’s made me stop and stare at times and at one point in my fancam of BUG you can hear me let out my breath in a sigh^^ lol I think I literally held my breath! I feel stunned about that still even now after finally finishing my fan account a few mnths later. I think it was when Yunho sings his short and long, sliding oh’s, and I just was in stunned mode^^ And then there is one point when Yunho sings sliding eh eeehhh eehs! And I swear the note was really high! And had as much power behind it as Changmin’s screaming high notes O_O!!!! wah!! I think both their vocals surprised and re-impressed me that night! ^O^ and I am so grateful and happy that I got this chance of a life time. I’d like Yunho to try doing another musical^^ I think it really helped him develop his vocals even further when he did Goong^^ and it makes me happy at how confident he seems to be in his singing abilities again^^
Also I swear I am not making this up! But I made eye contact with Yunho! At One point! I couldn’t believe it! They were quite far away and my mind is fuzzy over at which point he looked at me but it really happened! O_O I have never felt so freaked out in my life^^ lol! I swear my brain stopped working and my heart stood still! His eye are SO INTENSE! Like Lazer Beams! It was quite shocking from so far away for his eyes to have that intensity when you look into them. (He looked at our section a lot actually^^)I guess that is the moment in my life that the world really stood still^^ Yunho oppa I want to see you again! And Changmin! No hiding behind security guards at the airport Mr ninja! ^O^
